History

Cory Burns is a red seal certified carpenter with over 25 years experience. He is committed to having great relationships with his clients and providing each homeowner he works with a project they will be proud to show off. With experience in all aspects of carpentry from the foundation to the finishes in both new builds and renovations, Cory and his team are more than capable to bring your dream project to life.

At Hometown Master Carpentry our mission is to provide clients with a sense of pride in their homes. We firmly believe in working side by side with the customer to ensure that they are happy every step of the way. We achieve this by providing quality work while maintaining an open line of communication with the client.

Our Team

Cory Burns

Our owner, Cory Burns, always knew he wanted to be a carpenter. He jumped into the industry during high school and got right to work learning everything he could about home building and renovations. Early in his career he performed exterior renovations on high rise buildings in Windsor. He then moved to Niagara Falls to work with tilt-up construction and concrete forming. Once back in the 1000 Islands he moved into residential construction and trained under some great local carpenters.

Jaime Burns

Jaime Burns is our office manager. Her education is in office administration and bookkeeping. Jaime works hard to manage our finances, maintain our records and take care of our staff.

Community Involvement

We believe strongly in being deeply embedded in our community and are enthusiastic supporters of both children and adult sports. We enjoy contributing to teams of all sports to encourage active living and building relationships. Team sports provide players with the opportunity to learn how to work as a team and how to recognize how each individual can contribute to a team’s success.
